XO Desserts is more than a bakery — it’s a family story rooted in love, tradition, and a passion for creating desserts everyone can enjoy. What started as a simple idea in Wichita, Kansas, has grown into a community favorite where every treat is made from scratch and always gluten-free.

Our journey began in 2020, when founder Jack Feist set out to recreate the nostalgic New York–style cheesecakes from his childhood. Inspired by his father’s memories of Long Island and driven by his daughter’s Celiac diagnosis, Jack spent months perfecting a cheesecake that was not only safe but also every bit as rich, creamy, and indulgent as the classics he remembered. The result was a recipe that quickly won over friends, family, and eventually the wider Wichita community.

As demand grew, so did our dream. What began as Extraordinary Cheesecakes, selling 9” and 4” cheesecakes to local cafés and restaurants, evolved into XO Desserts — a dessert shop built on the values of quality, creativity, and community. Today, you’ll find our signature gluten-free cheesecakes, cannoli (with both classic and gluten-free shells), house-made ice cream, shakes, and seasonal specialties — all crafted with the same care that started in our family kitchen.

Jack’s daughter, Katelyn, now leads the bakery with passion and creativity, carrying forward the mission of making desserts that are safe for gluten-free lifestyles yet irresistible for everyone. Together, we’ve built XO Desserts into a place where families gather, friends celebrate, and the Wichita community comes to indulge in something special.

From supplying restaurants across the city to welcoming guests into our shop on South Oliver, our goal has always been the same: to share joy through dessert.
